Michael "Zdzislaw" Frankowski

Michael "Zdzislaw" Frankowski, 87, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 in Montgomery, Texas, surrounded by his loving family.
Born January 17, 1929 in Warsaw, Poland, Michael and his one true love, Alicja, were married for 53 years prior to her death in 2006.  He was a devout catholic and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Jersey City and, in addition most recently, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Conroe, Texas.
Michael served honorably in the Polish Navy for four years followed by a 21 year career in the Merchant Marines.  He immigrated to America on February 12, 1967 and settled in Jersey City, NJ, with his family.
Michael worked for Best Food International until his retirement.  He enjoyed being surrounded by family, telling stories of back in the old country, watching and discussing the Fox News channel and most of all, he loved his dog, Fifi.
Michael was predeceased by his wife Alicja and grandson Mark Szladewski.
Michael is survived by his daughters, Marcia (Bacia-Frankowski) Allen, wife of Steve Allen, Montgomery, TX, Anita (Frankowski) Brookshire, wife of Earl Brookshire, Conroe, TX, his grandchildren, Cathy (Bacia) Bower, wife of Josh Bower, Blandon, PA, Jessica Szladewski, Houston, TX and Kimberly (Bacia) Johnson, wife of Matt Johnson, Baltimore, MD.  He is also survived by his two great grandchildren, Chloe and Connor Bower, Blandon, PA and his sister, Halina Lawnicka in Poland, and many cousins.
