Carolyn Montanez

Carolyn Montanez has passed away at home, on April 28th, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.      

A lifelong resident of Jersey City, Carolyn worked for 10 years in housekeeping at Hoboken University Hospital, before retiring in 2013.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Samuel. Surviving her are her children: Denise, Sharon, Samuel, Sandra, Thomas, Jeffrey, Lydia, Troy, Erin and their spouses; cherished Grandmother to 23; and great-Grandmother of 20 great-Grandchildren; and sister to 3 surviving sisters and 3 deceased brothers.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 3-8 P.M., ay Michalski Funeral Home, 463 Monmouth St., Jersey City. Funeral Mass will occur on Monday, May 1, st St. Michael’s R.C. church, 10 A.M., with private cremation to follow.
