Christine Elizabeth Taggart

Christine Elizabeth Taggart, 44, left us on September 6, 2018 peacefully in her sleep.  Our community has sadly lost one of its most precious and beloved individuals who touched so many lives while here with us.
Christine was born on January 13, 1974 in Jersey City to Joseph and Irene Taggart.  Christine met most of her closest friends in her neighborhood and at Dr. Michael Conti elementary school.  She proudly was the first in her family to complete her college education at St. Peter's in Jersey City where she received a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Business.
Christine was known by everyone as a kind and caring friend who provided so much support and affection to those close to her.  She was a talented day trader who provided motherly support to her four kittens Cricket, Nukie, Lovie and Alice.  In addition to these devoted pets, she took care of six other outdoor cats because of her desire to help those in need.
She spent the last ten years of her life in California, exploring new frontiers but sadly away from family and friends in Jersey City.  Christine was a talented model as well and knew her style and personal tastes for design and her home environment, always creating a comfortable and beautiful place to be with her.
Christine is survived by her mother, Irene and one brother, Joseph, and one sister, Carol.  Christine also left many aunts, uncles, cousins and adoring friends including Chrissy Panzariello, David Marmora, and Richard Alston.
Her loving care will be missed by all who knew her.
Friends and family are invited to attend the memorial service which will be held at Michalski Funeral Home, 463 Monmouth Street, Jersey City, on Thursday, September 13 from 6:30 to 8:30pm.
