Sean O'Keeffe

Sean O’Keeffe, a lifelong resident of Jersey City, has passed away on June 30th, 2019 at Jersey City Medical Center, with his family by his side. 

He was a graduate of St. Michael’s school in Jersey City. For many years, he served as a popular bartender at Shannon’s bar in Jersey City and had been employed by the County of Hudson at Brennan Court house.

He is survived by his mother Kathleen; sisters Margaret, Noreen, and Nuala; brothers Michael, Patrick, Brian, and Brendan; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, ten nieces and nephews, and a long list of aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was predeceased by his father Patrick, and baby sister Kathleen.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 2nd, from 9:30-10:30 at St. Michael’s church, Jersey City, with funeral mass directly to follow.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Michalski Funeral Home, 463 Monmouth St., Jersey City. Cremation will be private.
