Angelo C. Ingratta, 89, life-long resident of Jersey City, passed away on Monday, June 6th, 2022.
Angelo AKA "Buthy" was a well-known man in downtown Jersey City. He worked for the United States Post Office delivering mail for over 30 years. "Here comes the mailman" would soon be replaced by either Angelo or Buthy. He loved his work. It enabled him to do two of his top favorite things - being outdoors and meeting new interesting and often funny people. Most became life-long friends.
Buthy was an exceptional family man. He loved being a Dad and was a natural. His family was always first. He was also committed to being a good person and friend. He had tremendous compassion especially for people in need and always gave without a second thought.
But some of our best memories of Buthy will be of how he always could make us laugh out loud with just a few amusing words and an equally entertaining expression.
Thank you for the laughs! Thank you for the love! We love you Buthy! Till we meet again!
