Armando Flores, of Brick, New Jersey, passed away on August 15th, 2022.
Born in Ecuador, he came to the United States at the age of 7. He was the youngest of 8 siblings. He grew up in Jersey City. He met his wife Melinda in 1984, joined the army in 1985, and got married in 1987. He is survived by his children Jeremy and Kelly Flores, son-in-law Chris Gonzalez, 2 grandkids, Jordan Lee Gonzalez and Christian Armando Gonzalez.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, dancing and singing karaoke, watching his kids compete in Taekwondo tournaments, and taking rides with his wife in his Corvette. He also enjoyed catering to his grandkids, watching them play basketball and taking them anywhere they wanted to go.
He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. Anyone who remembers him would know that he was a generous and loving person. He had an infectious smile which would light up the room. Everyone loved "Leo, Dad, Nano."
He is predeceased by his parents Julio and Deifilia Flores and his older brothers Bruno and Albert Flores.
A Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 19th, from 4pm to 8pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Rosary Church on Saturday, August 20th, at 10am.
