George Doda

George Doda, born on August 10, 1962, in Łomza, Poland, has left this world on April 17, 2024, in Jersey City, New Jersey. He was the beloved son of Leokadia and Marion Doda.

George was a kind and wonderful soul who touched the lives of many. His passing has left a hole in the hearts of all who knew him. He joins his parents, Marion and Leokadia Doda, and brother Jack Doda, in the afterlife but is survived by his loving siblings, Michael Doda and Bożena Abalo, as well as all of his cherished nieces and nephews.

A member of the Saint Anthony’s of Padua Church in Jersey City. He was also a talented musician with his band, Eastern Front, proficient in both guitar and bass guitar. George's passion for music brought joy to those around him.

Described as funny, loving, honest, caring, and trustworthy, George's presence illuminated any room he entered. His infectious laughter and warm unique smile will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A funeral service to honor and remember George Doda will be held at Michalski Funeral Home on Monmouth Street, Jersey City, NJ, USA, on May 6, 2024, at 4-8 PM. In this time of grief, let us remember George for the light he brought into our lives and the love he shared with us all. May his memory live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
