Halina Giermola

Halina Giermola passed away on February 20th, 2026, at home.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jan Giermola, her daughter Justyna Giermola Predko and her husband Dariusz Predko, her sister Henryka Gieraltowski and brother in law Kazimierz, and her niece Gabriela.

She was the Executive Housekeeper for the New York Athletic Club for 24 years, of which she was very proud since she was only one of three women to head a department in her company.  She also graduated from Hunter College with a degree in Business.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 27th, 2026, from 4pm to 8pm and on Saturday, February 28th, from 9am to 10:15 am.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am at St. Anthony of Padua Church.  Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield.
