Jean Ophenice Desrosier

Jean Ophenice Desrosier, 85, of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 21st, 2025.

Born in Haiti, he was a maintenance worker at Liberty House Nursing Home in Jersey City.

He is survived by his wife Serioline Damus, his children Gerda Vidal, Feny Desrosier, Denis Desrosier, Maxo Desrosier, Samuel Desrosier, Ogenie Desrosier, Wedzer Desrosier, Vedette Desrosier, Carmelot Desrosier, Sonfred Desrosier, and Olyn Desrosier.  He is also survived by 20 grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Michalski Funeral Home on Friday, January 2nd, 2026, from 4pm to 7pm.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 3rd, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Jersey City, at 10am.  Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery.
