Joan Klimek

Joan Klimek, 80, a lifelong resident of Jersey City, has passed away at her home with her loving family by her side.  Joan was known for her dedication and hard work in her career as a secretary in administration for the State of New Jersey for over 40 years.  She was also an avid parishioner of St. Anthony's Church in Downtown Jersey City.  Surviving are her sister, Dolores Best; her niece Suzanne La Bruno; and her nephew Joseph Brooks.

A visitation for her family and friends to attend will be at the Michalski Funeral Home located on 463 Monmouth Street in Jersey City on Friday February 21, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.  A mass will be held in her honor at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church located on 457 Monmouth Street in Jersey City on Saturday February 22, 2025 at 10 a.m.  Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery located on 823 West Side Avenue in Jersey City.
