Maria Dolores Figueroa

Maria Dolores Figueroa, 82, of Jersey City, passed away peacefully on December 17th, 2020, at her home in Jersey City surrounded by her loving family.
Maria was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico.  She worked as a custodian for Arvey's Corporation.  She worked as a lunch aide for Sister Pilar Day Care Center, Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, and P.S. 22.  She was an active member for Assumption/All Saints Church and the Sacred Heart Club.  She taught catechism classes, she would bring communion to the elderly and sick to their homes.  She was contacted by friends and church members to pray the rosary (novena) for nine days for family members that passed.  Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers/plants that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.  She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Maria was the loving sister of Carmen, Ramona, and Miguel Quiles.  She was the loving mother of five sons and four daughter-in-laws Angel & Yolanda, Eddie & Dorethea, Rene & Edna, Edwin & Lisa, John; and four daughters and three son-in-laws, Lourdes Rosado & Tony, Myrtha Magliulo & George, Sylvia Figueroa-Feliciano & Alberto Luis and Nancy.  Maria was blessed with a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, December 22nd, 2020 at the Michalski Funeral Home, 463 Monmouth Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302, (201) 653-0070, beginning at 5:00pm until 8:00pm.  The Funeral Mass will be offered at Assumption/All Saints Church, Jersey City, on Wednesday, December 23rd, at 11am.  Burial will follow at Bayview Cemetery, Jersey City.  Everyone must wear a mask at all times.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Assumption/All Saints Church will be appreciated.  Additional parking for the funeral home will be available at the Saint Anthony's Church parking lot on Sixth Street between Coles Street and Monmouth Street.
