Stanley Miklas Obituary

Stanley A. Miklas, of Jersey City, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 29, 2020.  Of Polish descent, he was born in Germany during WWII and became a U.S. citizen.  A USMC veteran, Stanley served the country that fought for him.  He was a combat veteran in the Vietnam War being awarded numerous medals including the Purple Heart.  He is survived by the family whom he loved dearly including his wife of 53 years, Joan Miklas and their children, Stanley E. Miklas, Frederick Miklas and Stefania Miklas-McCall, their spouses and children, his loving grandchildren: Ryan Miklas, Kyle Miklas, Aidan Miklas, Michael McCall and Zoe McCall.  A memorial service honoring Stanley's life will be held on Monday, March 29th, 2021 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Jersey City at 10am with a private ceremony following at Holy Cross cemetery where he is interred.  Please leave notes of condolences for the family on the Tribute Wall:  www.michalskifh.com/obituary/Stanley-Miklas.
